1. Provider and scope
DentIA is a dental practice management platform offered under the trading name NexusCenter IA (Nexus). For questions about these terms, privacy or intellectual property, write to nexus@getnexusia.com.
These terms govern access to the website and the tool. By accepting the stated version with your account, you confirm that you may enter into this agreement and, where applicable, are authorised to act for your practice. Acceptance of the terms is separate from cookie preferences and a patient's consent to healthcare.
2. Licence to use
Nexus grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DentIA's enabled features to manage the practice while your access and plan remain valid. A subscription permits use of the service; it does not transfer the source code or ownership of the platform.
Each person must use their own account and the permissions assigned by their organisation. The practice retains the control and rights it has over its information and documents; the DentIA licence does not extend to appropriating patient records.
3. Permitted use and responsibilities
The practice and its professionals are responsible for checking information, clinical decisions, prescriptions and required authorisations. DentIA organises and supports their work; it does not replace professional judgement, in-person care or an emergency service.
- Keep your credentials private, assign permissions according to each person's role and sign out on shared devices.
- Upload only information you are authorised to use, and comply with confidentiality duties and the requirements of your profession.
- Review results, documents and automated suggestions before using them. Do not leave medical decisions entirely to automation.
- In evaluation environments designated for fictional data, use fictional information only; do not add real patients.
- Report suspected unauthorised access or security faults to nexus@getnexusia.com without attaching passwords, keys or complete patient records.
4. Prohibited uses
Unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, access to another person's data, circumvention of access or security controls, malicious software, attacks on service availability and improper disclosure of personal information are never permitted. Nexus cannot authorise conduct contrary to the law. In addition, unless written permission, a legal exception or an applicable licence allows it, you must not:
- Copy, resell, sublicense, distribute or present DentIA, its design, documentation or code as your own product, except as permitted by law or third-party licences.
- Transfer, sell or otherwise commercialise accounts or platform access outside the agreed scope.
- Extract protected platform content to reproduce or exploit the platform outside the licence. This does not restrict legitimate export of your practice's own data using available features or a verified request to Nexus.
- Use the service's materials or identity in marketing that falsely implies a relationship or authority.
- Remove authorship notices, or use the DentIA/Nexus name, logo or materials in a way that implies a partnership or permission that does not exist.
- Decompile or reverse-engineer outside cases permitted by law. Legal exceptions for interoperability, accessibility and authorised security research remain available.
5. Trial, plans and payments
The applicable features, limits, price, currency, billing interval and promotions appear in the offer and purchase confirmation. The trial currently offered lasts 25 days without a card; its expiry does not authorise an automatic charge without a purchased subscription.
Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Check the amount and checkout conditions before confirming. A temporary discount ends as stated in the offer; the standard price and renewal interval must be visible before you subscribe.
You can manage or cancel renewal through the available subscription controls. Cancellation does not, by itself, delete patient records. For questions about charges, refunds or an enterprise offer, contact Nexus. Rights and refunds required by law remain available; these terms add no penalties and exclude no rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Availability and security
Nexus applies access controls and operational safeguards, but no system offers absolute availability or security. The service may require maintenance or rely on external providers. Report incidents through the stated contact channel for assistance.
Nexus may limit access where needed to address a security risk, misuse or plan status, proportionately and in accordance with the law and applicable agreements. This does not amount to appropriation of data or automatic deletion of historical records. Plan status or failure to accept a new version does not prevent you from cancelling renewal or requesting a legitimate export of your own information through a verified channel.
Users remain responsible for their professional work, and Nexus remains responsible for its provision of the tool as applicable. No clause excludes duties or liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Information and account closure
The privacy policy explains how data is used and which providers are involved. The practice must meet its own duties to safeguard, retain and provide records. If you need to export information, close an account or address a patient's request, contact Nexus and the responsible practice as appropriate.
Requests are verified to protect the people concerned. Ending access or a subscription is not an instruction to delete documents subject to legal retention; any deletion is assessed against its purpose, applicable duties and the practice's instructions.
8. Versions, enquiries and applicable rules
This page identifies the agreement's date and version. Material changes will be published as a new version and will require fresh acceptance to use the tool. Subscription management or cancellation and verified export requests remain available without that fresh acceptance. The acceptance record stores the account, legal package version, cryptographic hash of the accepted text and server date; it neither enables analytics nor grants clinical permissions.
The service is intended for practices in Guatemala. Applicable mandatory rules and users' rights in their jurisdictions are respected. If a dispute arises, first contact nexus@getnexusia.com; this does not limit recourse to the competent authorities or courts. There is no compulsory arbitration or waiver of legal rights.
