1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are values that a browser stores and sends to the site. DentIA also uses local and session storage for specific functions. This policy covers both, although not all browser storage is a cookie.
Necessary cookies enable sign-in, protect your session, remember the selected site and save your privacy choice. Blocking them in your browser may prevent these functions. Optional analytics remain off until you allow them.
2. Necessary cookies
These are set on the domain you use to access DentIA and are not used for advertising.
- sb-<project>-auth-token and its parts: Supabase authentication. SDK storage may last up to 400 days and can be renewed; the actual validity and revocation of each session or token are checked separately. Signing out removes the relevant authentication cookies.
- sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier: temporary verification for the PKCE sign-in flow where applicable. It is removed after the authentication exchange or according to the provider's cycle.
- dentia-active-workspace: remembers the organisation and site selected in /crm for up to 365 days. Its value does not grant permissions; these are checked against the account.
- dentia-cookie-preferences: stores the preference version, whether analytics are allowed or refused, and the date for up to 180 days. It stores no identity, patient records or access permissions.
3. Functional browser storage
This supports requested functions and is not used as account authorisation.
- digident-theme and odonto:tema (localStorage): keep the light, dark or system theme preference until you change it or clear the site's data.
- dentia:odonto3d:<context> and odonto:borrador (localStorage): markers in the integrated or standalone dental viewer. They may contain clinical text, remain after sign-out and have no automatic expiry. They are removed when you clear the marks or the site's data in your browser. They are local notes, not a patient-record backup. Use a personal profile, export anything you need to keep before clearing it and avoid sharing the profile.
- Registration and activation invitations (sessionStorage): let you continue the flow in the same tab and are removed on completion; they also disappear when the tab session ends.
- digident-app-opened:<surface> (sessionStorage): prevents duplicate app-opening analytics during the tab session. It is written only when you have allowed analytics; it is not a sign-in cookie.
4. Optional analytics
Your choice applies to this browser profile and domain, may affect the accounts used there and is not shared across devices. If you choose Allow analytics, DentIA may measure app openings, visited modules, app installation and approximate activity to improve the product. This information is associated with an authenticated account or session and may include device type and approximate country or region; it is not anonymous.
These events do not send clinical content, patient names, full URLs or free-text searches. Granular module reports exclude records older than 90 days; physical clean-up runs at the next enabled ingestion or query. App-opening or installation events and necessary access records follow different criteria described in the privacy policy. Your choice does not enable advertising or add third-party marketing pixels.
Necessary only refuses this measurement. Withdrawal stops future measurement and pending browser requests; it does not retrospectively erase existing records or cancel an operation already received. You can enquire about removing earlier data at nexus@getnexusia.com.
5. Your choice
You can choose Necessary only or Allow analytics with equal visibility, or open Cookie preferences to review the optional category. Analytics is unticked by default and is not accepted by scrolling, browsing or closing the notice.
The Cookie preferences link in the footer lets you change or withdraw your choice. Signing out through DentIA resets it to Necessary only. On shared devices, use separate profiles and check the choice before signing in; consent is not recorded individually for each account. We remember it for at most 180 days or until a new version requires an update. If the browser prevents saving the choice, we will tell you and analytics will stay off.
To block or clear cookies and functional storage, use your browser's privacy settings. Clearing authentication may sign you out; clearing local storage may lose preferences or drafts on that device. The tool will still enforce its server-side permissions.
6. External sites and contact
When you open Stripe, Google or other external sites of your choice, those services manage their own cookies under their policies. Your choice on DentIA does not amount to accepting cookies on those domains.
For questions about cookies or privacy, write to NexusCenter IA at nexus@getnexusia.com. The published date and version identify this policy.
